SOCIAL PROGRAM AND BANQUET FOR THE SCHOOL ON
DYNAMICS AND CHEMISTRY OF THE UPPER ATMOSPHERE
On Wednesday, 6 October, the School will convene in the morning only so that we can offer the participants a Social Program and School Banquet in the afternoon.
Wednesday’s schedule of talks will begin at 09:00 and end at 12:30. Lunch will be served 12:30-14:30, after which the participants will have free time until the beginning of the Social Program at 17:00.
17:00 SOCIAL PROGRAM: VISIT TO LOCAL WINE/CHAMPAGNE PRODUCERS
- INCLUDES A VISIT TO A LOCAL WINE CELLAR AND CHAMPAGNE PRODUCERS AND ALL TRANSPORTATION NEEDS FROM AND TO THE HOTEL ALKAZAR, SAN JUAN, ARGENTINA
- AFTER THE VISIT TO THE WINE CELLARS, WE WILL TRAVEL TO A LOCAL COUNTRY HOUSE FOR THE CONFERENCE BANQUET.
20:30 SCHOOL BANQUET
- APPETIZER: SMOKED SALMON CANAPES AND TYPICAL TURNOVERS
- MAIN COURSE: ARGENTINEAN BARBECUE (“ASADO”) INCLUDING SAUSAGE, BEEF, PORK, GOAT AND CHICKEN, SERVED WITH DIFFERENT SALADS AND DRESSINGS
- DESSERT: TYPICAL LOCAL DESSERT ACCOMPANIED WITH ICE CREAM
- COFFEE, SERVED WITH PETITS FOURS
- WATER OR SOFT DRINKS INCLUDED WITH THE MEAL; NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES
We will travel to the wine cellars and banquet by bus, which will pick up and return the participants to the Hotel Alkazar.
