Chemistry Textbook

In the late 1990s a collaborative effort by scientists at NCAR and colleagues in a number of universities and national laboratories was undertaken to provide a comprehensive textbook on Atmospheric Chemistry that would also serve as a reference text for scientists. The book was edited by Guy Brasseur, John Orlando, and Geoff Tyndall, and is focused on global-scale issues and their current and future roles in the Earth system. The text focuses on the interactions between atmospheric chemical composition and physical, biological, and climatic processes and the impacts of anthropogenic perturbations.
